For Love or Money (Chinese: 露水红颜) is an upcoming Chinese romance film directed by Gao Xixi and starring Rain and Liu Yifei. Originally slated for release on November 11, 2014, the film was moved earlier to November 7, 2014   
The movie For Love or Money (露水红颜, in Mandarin, with working titles Roots of Dew and Difficult Love) is a romantic drama about a girl from a declining aristocratic family who has been forced to live a normal working life. She meets an impoverished but talented painter (who may not be as poor as he seems), and they slowly fall into a risky, mesmerizing, passionate love that she tries desperately to avoid. You guessed it, they are as star-crossed as all get-out.

There's the added pressure of another man in her life, danger, and a ton of secrets. The obstacles against them are tremendous.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but our stunning goddess might just steal the thunder right under Rain’s abs (well, some might find this debatable…) For Love or Money is based on a novel by Zhang Xiao Han, which tells the moving story between a fallen noble lady and a rich heir to a large company. She’s broken and has lost the direction in life, whereas he chooses a life of poverty and freedom to pursue his passion as a painter. Together, will they be able to find themselves in this world of twists and turns before it’s too late?

This movie might just the ticket for me to invest in Liu Yi Fei as an actress. *crosses fingers*
