Gillian Flynn got a lot of appraisal and fan following after she wrote the best selling novel Gone Girl back in 2012. Due to unreliable narration and mysterious story line the novel was loved by many readers. Many critics called it the best novel of 2012. The huge positive response of the novel rolled the eyes of Leslie Dixon who showed interest in making a film. The Next thing was She along with her good friend Reese Witherspoon bought rights of the novel and even appointed Gillian Flynn to write the screenplay.

There is no doubt that David fincher is one of the finest director in Thriller genre. He is the reason why expectations from Gone Girl are very high. Gone girl will be the last film of Ben Afleck before he wear the dark cape of Batman in the highly anticipated film Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. Ben plays the lead role of Nick in the film while Rosamund pike plays the role of his wife Amy. Neil patrick Harris also appears in the film as Amy’s ex boyfriend/





Plot of Gone Girl

Gone Girl revolves around the life of Nick Dunne. Nick has recently lost his job and is in a tough marriage with Amy Dunne. He leaves New York and settles in Misouri along with his wife. However his relationship with Amy turns more complicated and one day Amy goes missing. No one knows if she is alive or dead. However several investigations from Police indicates that Nick has murdered his wife and has hidden her dead body. Did Nick actually murdered his wife or is it Amy who has framed Nick? The question is answered in the film.


 Gone Girl Budget and Shooting

Director David Fincher was hired to direct Gone Girl after Reese Witherspoon and Leslie dixon decided to buy the rights of the popular 2012 novel. The shooting of Gone Girl began in September 2013. Most of the movie is shot in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Its a beautiful shooting location.
